Submission deadline
We invite abstract submissions of novel research and completed or in-progress work in English, up to 800 words and including a maximum of two figures. Abstracts must be submitted as a PDF formatted according to the ICA abstract template (Word template, LaTeX template). Please submit your abstract via the link below.
Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee for inclusion in the conference program.
If accepted, you will be invited to give an oral or poster presentation at the conference, and your abstract will be published in the Abstracts of the International Cartographic Association series. Selected abstracts will be invited to a full paper submission for a special issue of a cartography journal.
In order to submit an abstract, you need to create an account on the Indico system (the conference management software running on TU Wien's servers). Please do so by clicking "Create Indico account" on the login screen that will be shown after selecting "Submit new abstract".
